India Killing It In Space!- Chandrayaan-2

Scientists have always been baffled about finding the exact distance between the earth and the moon. Luckily Indian scientists are making progress towards this goal of accurately estimating the definite distance between the Earth its satellite.

Chandrayaan-2 is set to launch in april. This is India’s second lunar expedition after the Chandrayaan 1 in 2008 and is way more complex than what it was 10 years ago.It will carry NASA’S laser instruments. The laser retro reflector assortments will help the scientists to take accurate measurements of the distance between the Earth and the moon.

Chandrayaan-2 costs around Rs. 800 crore! The aim of this expedition is to carry out successful experiments on the moon. We will also place a lunarrover on the south pole of the moon in order to learn more and convey important information.

Do you think that mission will lead us to uncover mysteries about our natural satellite? Or should we focus on improving our planet instead of these expeditions? Tell us in the comments and subscribe to Owlett.in for more!

We have enough unfulfilled problems to improve the life of the current generation so we should focus more on them and leave these futuristic projects to the rich countries.

INDIA has more urgent and current problems to make the lifes of the current generation better. We should focus scarce resources on them and let the countries which can afford do these futuristic projects.

Good questions manvi. I think we should do both. That is concentrate on solving problems in this planet along with discovering mysteries of this universe, to keep our scientific temperament alive, and own future discoveries. We cannot fully eradicate all problems here. Keep it up. Best wishes.
