Benjamin Netanyahu wins Israeli Elections Again

Israeli news reported Benjamin Netanyahu’s election win for a second time. He won by a narrow margin of 5 seats secured by his right-wing party Likud. His opposition was Benny Gantz from the left-wing Blue and White party.

During the campaign, the rival parties accused each other of corruption, unfair biases and not prioritizing security.

Netanyahu highlighted his relationship with the United States and the Trump Administration. He also recognized Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel, thus angering Palestinians and providing incentive to aggressive nationalist Israelis to elect him.
