A recent study at UK’s National Cyber Security Centre has revealed that more than 23 million users worldwide have accounts that are ‘secured’ with the password – 123456. The other most common passwords included ‘123456789’, ‘qwerty’, ‘1111111’ and the names of football(soccer) players, fictional characters, places, or even music bands.
As passwords are the single biggest control users have over their cybersecurity, nobody should protect their data with passwords so easily guessable for hackers and cybercriminals.
