Brexit talks collapse

Talks between Britain’s Prime Minister, Theresa May and her opposition, Labour party have collapsed, making it unclear how Brexit will proceed. Brexit is the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union. The two opposing parties (conservative party and labour party) have been unable to come to an agreement. The talks were initiated to create a plan that could be passed through the parliament. With the deadlock now, Theresa May has indicated that she will step down from conservative party leadership. The original deal which has already been rejected three times will be put to vote again in June and is unlikely to pass, leading to further uncertainty.
