Cheaper iPhones?!

Apple Inc is a well known tech company that wants to sell better in the world’s second largest smartphone market- India. To do this, they will be assembling the iPhone parts in a Foxconn factory in India. This helps them avoid high taxes on import of fully assembled phones and allows them to open their own retail stores in India. Apple is facing a slowdown in their sales in India due to the cheaper phones in the market.

To solve this issue they have reduced their price and assembling phone parts in India helps them do that. 64 GB iPhone XR boxes were seen with a “assembled in India” tag in retail shops such as Croma, where they were priced at Rs.49,900.
